WHO OPERATES THE SERVICE

Good Girl Academy is operated by Datingjutsu LLC in the United States. The initial sales territory is the United States. Contact contact@goodgirlacademy.com for privacy, legal, or security questions.

INFORMATION WE PROCESS

Depending on how you use Good Girl Academy and Shopify-hosted Checkout, we process contact and account information; authentication and security data; an optional Academy name and chosen icon; enrollment and access state; lesson and course progress; workbook access events where tracked; orders, safe provider transaction references, payment status, refund status, and the policy version attached to an order; support and privacy requests; transactional-email status; and security and audit records. Shopify may also process checkout, device, browser, network, IP-address, cookie, and usage information under its own privacy terms.

PAYMENTS

Shopify hosts the checkout experience. The activated payment provider processes card or payment credentials. Good Girl Academy receives order and payment status plus the minimum provider identifiers needed for verification, reconciliation, disputes, refunds, and access. Good Girl Academy does not receive or store a full card number or CVV. Never send payment credentials, passwords, or bank details by email or support message.

HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use information to authenticate accounts; create and reconcile orders; verify payment independently; deliver and secure course access; preserve progress; send receipts and private account-access or recovery messages; process refunds; provide support; prevent abuse and fraud; investigate incidents; maintain audit records; and meet legal or accounting obligations. A browser return, order number, or customer-controlled value never grants course access by itself.

MARKETING CHOICES

Email marketing consent at checkout is optional and is not preselected. Marketing consent is not required to purchase or receive course access. Good Girl Academy may still send necessary transactional, security, order, refund, and account-access messages. This release does not use advertising or marketing cookies.

SERVICE PROVIDERS

Shopify provides hosted checkout and commerce records; Cloudflare provides application delivery, security, and hosting; Supabase provides authentication and database services; Bunny.net provides video delivery; Resend provides transactional email; and the payment provider shown at checkout processes payment information. Authorize.net will be used through Shopify only after written provider approval and deliberate activation. Existing payment methods may remain available separately until that cutover. A disabled provider does not receive a call merely because it is named here.

COURSE AND ACADEMY IDENTITY

An optional Academy name and icon can be used in member spaces. Other members see that name and icon, not your account email. Good Girl Academy still uses your email for account access, receipts, security, and support. Course activity and workbook answers are not published. Staff and necessary providers may access account data only when required for their work.

COOKIES AND ESSENTIAL STORAGE

We and Shopify use cookies or similar storage needed for secure sessions, checkout, fraud prevention, form protection, and necessary preferences. The Good Girl Academy application does not use marketing or advertising cookies in this release. Shopify's own processing is described in Shopify's consumer privacy materials.

SECURITY AND RETENTION

We use role-based access, least privilege, transport encryption, provider access controls, audit records, restricted secrets, and tested database policies. No system is perfectly secure. We keep information only as long as needed for service delivery, our documented retention schedule, legal or accounting obligations, fraud prevention, dispute handling, security, backups, or a legal hold. Required transaction, policy-acceptance, refund, audit, or legal records may remain after account closure.

YOUR CHOICES AND REQUESTS

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, an available export, an Academy identity change, account closure, or information about a request. We may verify that a request belongs to the account, and legal exceptions may apply. Email contact@goodgirlacademy.com. You may opt out of marketing through the unsubscribe control in a marketing message; doing so does not stop necessary transactional or security messages.

ADULTS ONLY

Good Girl Academy is exclusively for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly offer the service to children. Contact us if you believe a person under 18 supplied information.

CHANGES

We may update this policy for legal, security, operational, provider, or product changes. We will post the current version and provide a reasonable website or account notice for material changes.
